VeriFone’s VX 700 packs multiple payment options, the highest security and outstanding durability into one of the industry’s smallest footprints. And that makes the VX 700 a perfect fit for self-service payment—indoors or out— including a variety of kiosk, vending, parking and ticketing applications. The VX 700 is exceptionally versatile, making it just right for new OEM designs or for existing vending machines or kiosks. It complies with the latest PCI PED and EMV standards to protect transactions and cardholder information. And with an IP65 rating and impact resistance of 10J, the VX 700 is built to perform in the toughest environments.

Form-fitting design

The unique form factor of the VX 700 allows the entire 16-key PIN pad and its 128 x 64 graphical display to fit within a standard bill acceptor cutout – ideal for vending and other space-critical applications. The VX 700 is equally well suited for payment kiosks in ticketing, transportation, parking, drivethrus and petroleum or other self-service applications and can double as a powerful controller for vending and ticketing machines.

Versatile and Flexible

The VX 700 is often coupled with a smart card reader such as the VeriFone SCR710 and has the capability to accept a peripheral contactless reader to provide a complete and highly flexible payment solution for magneticstripe, EMV smart card applications, or contactless payment. The VX 700 operates at a wide range of input voltages to utilize existing power supplies, and it incorporates low power and power-saving modes to reduce consumption in powercritical applications. OEMs and system integrators can also take advantage of standard connectivity offerings such as multiple serial ports and USB host and slave ports, or add optional Ethernet LAN or dial capabilities. And optional adapters provide multi-drop bus (MDB) connectivity for vending applications.
